Minecraft is a popular game that allows players to explore and build worlds, often with the goal of surviving as long as possible. Its popularity has led to the production of collectible items such as figurines and toys based on characters from the game. Now a modder has made it possible for people who own a copy of Minecraft's Collector's Edition to play with all future updates for free. It was announced by Mojang that they would be switching from an always-online requirement to one activated at 5pm Central Europe time on May 10th 2016. But not everyone had this luxury, especially those who bought early versions of the game or purchased digital versions later on down the line. However, a mod author named NukeDuck has been working on a patch program to unlock those features. NukeDuck's patch does what it says on the tin, as it unlocks all of the features of Minecraft's unlocked editions. This includes giving free access to the various mods that Mojang has released over the years, as well as content from other developers that was ported into Minecraft using their Modding API. It also allows players to play every other version of Minecraft for free, including those that were previously Premium-exclusive such as Battle and Beasts. To use this patch, players must have a copy of either Minecraft or Mojang's launcher installed on their systems first. They must then download the latest version of the patch from NukeDuck's official website. The process can be done on Windows, Mac and Linux systems. Minecraft itself is only required to run the application, while the launcher will bring up a new window to manage Minecraft's settings and files. The patch includes many of Mojang's past updates and mods, including: "Unicorn", a mod that allows you to wear dyed armor and ride an armored unicorn. It is available for all editions except for Console Edition, where it was replaced with "Super Adventure Pals". "Fantasy Mob Spawner", a mod that spawns various fantasy-themed mobs such as trolls and skeletons into your world. "Wings", a mod that allows you to gain the power of flight. It was replaced with "Project Zulu"'s Iron Feathers for Console Editions. "Mo Creatures", which features various new mobs such as kitties, bears, mooshrooms and pigmen. It was replaced with "Super Cucumber Fun Time Adventure" for Console Editions. Note that the new mobs will only spawn if you have not used Fertilizer on any of your grass blocks or planted any crops yet, as Mojang made it so that Mo Creatures' animals spawn on grass blocks instead of dirt ones. "Waystones", a mod that added ways to travel, such as the Nether and the End. It was replaced with "WarpBook" for Console Editions. "Nursery", a mod that adds baby animals and blocks to the game, such as sheep and rabbits. It was replaced with "Project Zulu"'s Nether Shearing for Console Editions. "Furnace & Smelter", a mod that adds an ore smelter and furnace into your world that can be used to create Iron, Redstone and Gold tools and armor (and workbenches). cfa1e77820
